Dr. Joseph White founded Optimum Health Wellness Center in 2004. It was born out of his decade long vision of establishing a medical practice that would help people find health and healing by emphasizing natural and less toxic remedies along with a balanced life style.

He received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Science, and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Missouri. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Wayne State University and his residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. White is Board Certified in Internal Medicine Emergency Medicine, and Anti-Aging Medicine. He is on staff in the Dept of Medicine at St. Dominic Hospital and River Oaks Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Dr. White’s interest in nutrition and preventive health care has grown over the years. It is now his passion. He conducts Health and Wellness seminars in several venues with the goal of helping people improve and optimize their health and quality of life.

He has been married to his lovely wife Alice for over 35 years. They have two adult children and 6 grandchildren.
